Welcome to Arch-e-Bench; the ‘e’ stands for Exercise. The bench has been evolving for a number of years. Tired of putting my feet under the couch in order to do sit-ups, I began experimenting with designs for a sit-up bench made of fine wood. I developed a wheel mechanism for extending the foot pedals and then retracting them when not in use. The ability to lower the seat for sit-ups and then raise it to level for sitting at a table provided a dual functionality. Adding the distinctive arches, originally an aesthetic feature, enabled more options for various stand and dip exercises with or without weights.
